Tote Bag Redesign
The goal of this project was to redesign a product to meet the needs of modern users. This redesign was of the tote bag, the new design includes a loop that can hold a jacket, a computer pocket, and a water bottle elastic loop, each element is incorporated with the goal of maximizing organization while keeping all items easily accessible, and the mad foldable.
The first prototype was made from scrap fabric and an old tote bag, the primarily goal being to test the jacket loop on the side of the bag. The new prototype includes all elements of the design and make from fresh materials to provide a cleaner and more functional final product.

This product is designed to hold everyday objects (i.e. laptop, water bottle, light jacket, wallet, phone, keys, etc.). The total weight of the bag contents should not exceed 20 pounds. Any large or hazardous items should not be placed in the bag. Using the bag in such a way might result in damages to the bag or objects, or injury to the user. The user remains solely responsible for any modifications or unauthorized use. The designer and manufacturer are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage resulting from misuse, overloading, or modification of the product.
