Desk Multi-Tool MK.4
This design was created to improve a student's experience in the DIS classroom. It's simple, yet elegant and obvious design allows anyone to use it, even if they've never seen it in use.
The Desk Multi-Tool easily slides onto any desk in the DIS classroom, held in place by a TPU gripper that slightly deforms to better grab the desk. The teeth are slightly angled to make it easy to slide onto the table, but resist sliding off.
On the back is a large and sturdy hook that allows the user to hang their bag, keeping it off of the dirty floor or away from desk surfaces where it would only take up space. The bag hook also allows the user to very easily access the contents of their satchels, and is sturdy enough to hold reasonably heavy bags.
In this fourth edition, the user can also charge their devices. The user can easily use the already existing cord reels hanging from the ceiling, plug them into the male NEMA 5-15 receptacle, and plug in up to three extra devices.

This new MK. 4 unfortunately requires an amount of safety when used.
The incorporation of an extension feature means that users must practice basic electrical safety procedures when using.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
Do NOT plug additional extension cords/cables into the receptacles (commonly known as daisy chaining). Improper connections can increase resistance considerably, which may lead to electrical fires or generally unsafe conditions
Do NOT hang excessive weight off of the bag hook. It was designed to hold heavy bags, but please use reasonable judgement as to the weight of the bags being hung.
Do NOT insert anything conductive into the receptacles unless it is a plug for your devices. No forks, scissors, wires, etc.
Lastly, please do not try to consume any part of the Desk Multi-Tool.
This product was designed for use in the DIS classroom.
Users receive no guarantee that the hook will attach to tables outside of the classroom.
