Tote Bag Redesign
This project aimed to redesign the traditional tote bag for the needs of modern users. The new design incorporates a laptop pocket and water bottle sleeve, as well as a strap for a coat, all added with the main goal of maximizing organization in the bag while keeping all of the items easily accessible.
The first prototype was made using a pre-existing bag and scrap fabric and only intended to test the jacket strap on the outside of the bag. This updated prototype incorporates more elements of the original design, while providing a cleaner look and utilizing more durable materials.

This product is designed for carrying everyday objects, (e.g. light jacket, laptop, books, water bottle, keys, wallet, etc.), less than 15 pounds total. It is not intended to carry large, heavy, or hazardous items. Using the product to carry such items may result in the strap breaking, leading to potential injury to the user or damage to property. The user assumes responsibility for improper modifications or unauthorized use.
